Game World

BOGUSZYCZANIE grew out of a real place.

Boguszyce is a small village in Lower Silesia. The kind of place you can pass by without ever realizing how many stories are written into its landscape. An old church, a palace, a cemetery, ponds, a forest, a former school, ruins and roadside traces of times gone by — ordinary places, until we begin to ask who was here before us.

It was from this very question that the world of BOGUSZYCZANIE was born.

It is not a faithful reconstruction of a single era. It is a world built from what is real, from what might have happened, and from what may not happen until centuries from now.

Here, history meets legend, and legend meets the future.

The same roads lead through different centuries. Places change owners, names and meanings. Houses are built, people disappear, borders shift, languages and beliefs change. What remains of former inhabitants are photographs, documents, stones, objects and memories — sometimes only a single name.

And sometimes an unanswered question.

In the world of the game, the past is not dead. It can be found beneath a layer of plaster, in a carved symbol, in an old grave, in a story no one remembers in its entirety anymore.

But BOGUSZYCZANIE is not only a story about the past.

The story of Boguszyce reaches much further — into the world of ancient Slavic beliefs, into the nineteenth century, into our present day, and finally into a future so distant that humanity must once again ask what it truly means to be human.

Because time in this story is not a straight line.

It is a space.

One Village. Many Worlds.

The journey begins locally, but over time the borders of Boguszyce cease to matter.

The player enters the world of the ancient Slavs, the reality of the nineteenth century, places hidden beneath familiar buildings, a city of the future, and even places where Earth is no longer the only point of reference.

The eras change, along with architecture, technology and the way the world is understood.

And yet, something remains the same.

People love. They lose. They make mistakes. They try to save others. They leave behind things whose meaning future generations no longer understand. They make decisions whose consequences can outlive them by centuries.

That is why the world of BOGUSZYCZANIE is not a story about travelling through time.

It is a story about what time does to people, places and memory.

About how the future is built from events that were once simply someone’s present.

And about how sometimes the smallest point on a map can become the beginning of a story far greater than anyone could have imagined.

In the valley where Boguszyce sleeps, the past never truly disappears.
