Bus Stop
There are several designated bus stops in Boguszyce. Two of them, built of brick, stand out for their appearance. One is located in the centre of the village, by the church and park, and the other in Boguszyce Osiedle.
Boguszyce - Church
The bus stop in Boguszyce is one of the everyday links connecting the village with Oleśnica and nearby towns and villages. For years, residents have used it to travel to school, work, offices and shops.
In 2021, the bus stop in Boguszyce was given a new artistic appearance. The project was initiated by village head Jadwiga Bodo and the Rural Women’s Association, in cooperation with the Oleśnica Municipal Cultural Centre. Village residents painted the stop under the direction of the project’s author, Marcin Mrowicki, depicting, among other things, the church in Boguszyce and a woman in folk costume inspired by the Boguszyczanie ensemble.
Boguszyce Osiedle
The colourful bus stop in Boguszyce Osiedle was created as part of the municipal project “Colourful Bus Stops”, whose aim was to give ordinary bus stops a distinctive character through artistic murals. As a result, a place used every day while waiting for the bus also became a local landmark.
In 2024, the interior of the structure was renovated and adapted for continued use by the local community.

"The artistic project of the Oleśnica Municipal Cultural Centre, carried out continuously since 2013 in Oleśnica Municipality under the name "Colourful Bus Stops" (also promoting a sustainable lifestyle), was recognised as one of the 11 best European practices identified across 9 European countries and was included in research and in the report (to be available soon) entitled "Cultural Heritage – Innovative Audience Development” (prepared by Economia Creativa).
The report includes projects from the United Kingdom, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Poland (Oleśnica Municipality).
The "Colourful Bus Stops" project began spontaneously in 2013 and was carried out by the Oleśnica Municipal Cultural Centre, the "Moja Przestrzeń" Foundation for Supporting Local Development, and artist Marzena Klimowicz (as part of the project „Village Community Centres – Centres of Civic Activity”, implemented with support from the SWISS CONTRIBUTION programme, and was later continued by artist Marcin Mrowicki and the Oleśnica Municipal Cultural Centre, with support from the Oleśnica Municipal Office and, of course, the residents of Oleśnica Municipality themselves." - as reported by nolesnica.pl
The stops are served by local buses, including line G4 (Oleśnica Municipal Bus Transport operated by Polbus-PKS), as well as connections to Oleśnica and Wrocław.
